Update: AMC Annual Report

The AMC Annual Report gives a comprehensive overview of the AMC mechanism illustrating the work of the pilot Advance Market Commitment (AMC) for pneumococcal disease. The report summarises the first months of implementation of this innovative initiative: a promise to children around the world to protect them from diseases that threaten their lives and cut short their hopes for the future.

All AMC stakeholders have worked in close collaboration to successfully implement the pilot AMC. Much has been accomplished since the signature of the legal agreements on 12 June 2009.

The report has been developed by the AMC Secretariat at GAVI, in collaboration with the World Bank and UNICEF Supply Division and was approved by the Independent Assessment Committee on 13 April 2010.
